For security reasons, SIGIR was also denied access to the schools roof. Consequently, SIGIR performed an expedited assessment. The total of the project invoices paid at the completion of the project was 399,049. The overall objective of the project was to reconstruct the Sagrah School in Anbar province, Iraq, to benefit children from the surrounding area. The school had been previously destroyed by insurgent activity. The reconstruction of the school will provide a safe and secure educational environment for the children of Sagrah.
