Revalidation of Culex (Melanoconion) invocator Pazos with a Redescription of Adults and Illustration of Male Genitalia (Diptera: Culicidae)

Culex Melanoconion invocator Pazos, originally described from Cuba, is resurrected from the synonymy of Cx. Mel. erraticus Dyar and Knab. The adult male including the genitalia and presumptive female of this species are described. The characteristic male genitalia of invocator and erraticus are illustrated for comparison.
