Lectotype Assignments for Several Species of the Genus Culex in Southeast Asia (Diptera: Culicidae)

During the summer of 1966, visits to European institutions with the purpose of studying types and other specimens of the mosquito genus Culex from Southeast Asia revealed the need to designate lectotypes for a number of species. Most of the lectotype assignments are included in Bram Cont. Amer. Ent. Inst. 211-296, 1967 however, the following species are not known to occur in Thailand and must, therefore, be treated independently.
