Abstract:

The efforts established by the current energy policy do not put the United States, and the global community for that matter, on a course that will result in adequate independence of fossil fuels by 2030. In order to secure its energy security, the United States must achieve diversification both in source types of energy production and in supplier of fossil fuels.
