Founded in 2007, Fires serves as a forum for the professional discussions of US Army and Marine Field Artillery FA and Army Air Defense Artillery ADA professionals, both active and Reserve Component RC disseminates professional knowledge about the FAs and ADAs progress, developments and best use in campaigns cultivates a common understanding of the power, limitations and application of joint fires, both lethal and nonlethal fosters joint fires interdependency among the armed services and promotes the understanding of and interoperability between the FAs and ADAs active and RC units--all of which contribute to the good of the FA and ADA, Army, joint and combined forces, and our nation.
