Abstract:

The interactions between individual polymer chains with embedded carbon nanotubes CNTs in nanocomposites were investigated by using two model polymer systems, polystyrene and polyphenylene oxide representing respectively the ductile and brittle polymers, with surface-grafted multiwalled CNTs.
