The purpose of this work is to develop advanced multidisciplinary numerical simulation capabilities for aerospace vehicles with emphasis on highly accurate, massively parallel computational methods for Direct and Large-Eddy simulation of turbulence, flow control, aero-acoustics and nonlinear fluidstructure interactions. These technical objectives directly support AFRL Air Vehicles Directorates Capability Focused Tech Investment in persistent ISR, Strike and Multi-Role Mobility thrusts.
