This report describes how the skill standards were developed and presents the skill standards for each of the seven security disciplines. It also presents guidance to help end-users put the standards to work in five practical applications Training Definition, Training Assessment, Performance Evaluation, Job Definition, and Professional Certification. The skill standards and application guidance in this report are intended for use as tools rather than as prescriptions, and readers are encouraged to modify them as needed based on their particular requirements.
