This report results from a contract tasking University of Birmingham as follows The Grantee will investigate the feasibility of using Non-Cooperative Transmitters NCTs for Bistatic and Multistatic Radars BR and MR. The candidate transmitters include Global Navigation Satellites Systems GNSS such as GPS United States and GLONASS Russia. Key areas studied include transmitter availability reliability. radiating power and signal bandwidth. High-resolution experiments will be made using the Russian GLONASS system.
