Abstract:
This Coastal and Hydraulics Engineering Technical Note CHETN provides an example set of contract specifications for the construction of sediment-filled geotextile tube structures. While the example presented here can be used as a guide by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers USACE District Contracting Officers preparing their own contract specifications, it is not intended as a substitute for knowledge regarding appropriate applications for geotextile tube structures these applications are discussed in Davis and Landin 1997, 1998 and Curtis, Pollock and McLellan 2004.
