This report presents the results of a Phase I Marine Archeological Remote Sensing Survey of the Grand Isle Re-evaluation Study, and the dredging of Bayou Rigaud and marsh creation areas in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. R. Christopher Goodwin Associates, Inc. conducted this investigation on behalf of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District USACE-NOD on September 19-22 and November 7-8, 2002, and May 12-17, 2003. The study was undertaken to assist the USACE-NOD in satisfying its responsibilities under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended. All aspects of the investigations were completed in accordance with the Scope-of-Work, and the Secretary of the Interiors Standards and Guidelines for Archeology and Historic Preservation Federal Register 44, 1983.
