Each year medical claims and lost time injuries as a result of on-the-job accidents cost American companies millions of dollars. Most companies have implemented numerous diversified safety training programs and policies in an attempt to reduce the number of accident related injuries. The focus of many of these programs has been global in nature, and their effectiveness is difficult to monitor and measure.
