Abstract:
This report results from a contract tasking AnaLogic Computers Ltd. as follows The Grantee will investigate a real-time multi-target tracking and actuating system. The tracking algorithm will be implemented on the Cellular Neural Network CNN visual microprocessor technology called the ACE-BOX Visual Computer with the ACE16K CNN chip. Tracking will include selective identification based on shape and size. A high-speed CMOS camera will provide image streams of moving objects displayed on a screen to the Visual Computer. The system will be connected to a switchable laser actuator such as a laser pointer which will be used to mark the targets. The proposed schematic diagram of the system and other details are provided in the technical proposal and amendment.
