Abstract:
The Final Proceedings for Thirteenth International Workshop on Principles of Diagnosis DX-2002, 2 May 2002 - 4 May 2002. This workshop is based on the area of artificial intelligence. The focus of this years event is on theories, principles and computational techniques for diagnosis, testing, reconfiguration and repair of complex systems. Specific topics of interest to the Air Force include formal methods and computational methods, modeling symbolic, numeric, discrete, continuous, and hybrid discretecontinuous, computational issues like combinatorial explosion, the diagnosis process, machine learning, nonmonotonic reasoning, and applications and technology transfer.
