Abstract:

A hybrid surface and volume integral equation approach is implemented for the calculation of electromagnetic scattering from dielectric material coated complex targets. The implementation includes three sets of mesh types triangletetrahedron, quadranglehexahedron of first order, and quadranglehexahedron of second order curvilinear. The solver is accelerated by the multilevel fast multipole algorithm so that electrically large sized targets can be analyzed. The program can be used for RCS analysis of complex targets, antenna-platform interaction calculation, wave propagation simulation, and microwave circuit analysis.
