In this project we have first refined the model to account for the role of the ceramic fillers in enhancing the transport and the interfacial properties of polyethylene oxidePEO-based composite polymer electrolytes, by a series of specifically addressed electrochemical tests which included the determination of the conductivity and of the lithium transference number of various composite electrolyte samples only differing from the type of the surface states of the ceramic filler. The results were described in details in the 1st Interim Report.
