Abstract:

Two areas of research are described 1 Studies of the surface and photochemical properties of TiO2 surfaces 2 study of the factors influencing the use of carbon nanotubes for adsorption. This work connects to the use of TiO2 and carbon nanotubes for environmental remediation. TiO2 is shown to be an active material for photochemical oxidation of organophosphorous compounds carbon nanotubes are strong adsorbents for small molecules which can fit into the nanotube interior.
