As part of the EECA, the Bioplume II modeling effort has three primary objectives 1 to predict the future extent and concentration of the dissolved-phase contaminant plume by modeling the effects of advection, dispersion, sorption, and biodegradation 2 to assess the possible risk to potential downgradient receptors and 3 to provide technical support for selection of the intrinsic remediation option as the best remedial alternative at regulatory negotiations, as appropriate. The Bioplume II modeling effort for this site will involve completion of several tasks, which are described in the following sections.
