Abstract:

This audit was performed at the request of Representative John Conyers, Jr., Chairman of the House Committee on Government Operations. The Chairman requested that we perform an audit of the procedures used by the Navy in soliciting a second source for the production of the ANSQQ-89 ASW Combat System. The request was based on information that GEs cost and pricing data may have been disclosed to WEC, and that WEC may not have been qualified to produce the combat system.
