Abstract:

The All Source Analysis System ASAS is a ground-based mobile intelligence-processing system designed to provide automated support to Army combat commanders. The ASAS will provide commanders a timely and comprehensive understanding of opposing force deployments, capabilities, and potential courses of action. The ASAS Program is an evolutionary development effort consisting of five blocks. As a result of our audit, the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition USDA redesignated the Defense Acquisition Board DAB program review scheduled for March 1993 as a Milestone II review rescheduled for May 1993.
