This report serves as a guidance document for the reduction of stationary source air emissions and minimization of regulatory burden associated with the Clean Air Act Ammendments of 1990 at U.S. Air Force Installations. The report provides recommended methodologies for reducing both actual and potential emissions and identifies common emission calculation errors that may increase the degree to which an installation is regulated. The report summarizes major air-based pollution prevention opportunities identified during two years of site support visits covering 1998 and 1999. The report contains recommendations for six specific source categories associated with Air Force operations. The six categories include aerospace ground support equipment, boilers, emergency generators, fuel storagedispensing operations, solvents, and surface coating operations. Also, budgeting A-lO6 inputs associated with air emission recommendations are included.
