Abstract:

The Army Battlefield Communications ABC study was carried with support from the Army Research Office during the 1996 JASON Summer Study. The Study Group was asked to access future COTS technologies as to their applicability to Army battlefield communications at the brigade and below levels and to identify research and development efforts needed in implementing the mandate.
