Abstract:

The use of integrated, focused behavior manipulation principles and techniques may greatly enhance the success of guerrilla warfare. Proper integration of psychological communications to manipulate behavior in guerrilla warfare may facilitate the recruiting1 motivation, morale, sustainment and popular support for a guerrilla movement and its cause. This study examines the application of selected behavior manipulation principles and techniques to improve the effects of symbology, war names, recruiting, motivation, and morale sustaining techniques in the conduct of guerrilla warfare.
