Abstract:

The objective of the interim response action at the lime settling basins is to mitigate the threat of releases from the basins. The proposed IRA consists of 1 Relocation of sludge material to the settling basin, 2 Construction of a 360 degree subsurface barrier around the basins, 3 Construction of a soil and vegetative cover over the material, 4 Installation of a ground water extraction system.
