We have developed application software for a variety of advanced scientific problems on a variety of parallel supercomputer platforms -- IBM PVS, IBM Spi and IBM SP2, Cray T3D, and Silicon Graphics Power Challenge Applications of our work have ranged from micro-lithography to chemical kinetics to fluid turbulence. Significant breakthroughs have been accomplished, which include the first aerial image of a full-scale 4Mb DRAM chip, and in the development of parallel lattice gas methods, especially lattice BGK methods. In fluid turbulence, breakthroughs have included the first direct simulation of the Kolmogorov k-53 inertial range spectrum and the development of hyperviscous simulation techniques that allow parallel calculation at Reynolds numbers that rival the highest Reynolds numbers observed in nature, namely geophysical flows.
