Abstract:

This is a study of alternative solutions for the basin F problem. In particular the following types of alternatives were evaluated 1 fill and cover basin F, 2 excavate contaminated materials and transport to a landfill, and 3 physical andor chemical treatment of the contaminated materials in basin F. The first task of the original scope of this work was preparation of a Decision scheme to evaluate methods of controlling release of contaminants in the basin F vicinity to the surrounding environment. Completion of task 1 resulted in a letter report issued May 5, 1980 by DAppolonia.
