Abstract:

This technology Plan, which has been prepared by Director of Defense Research and Engineering DDRE, Service and Defense Agency Teams is a compilation of individual plans - each covering one of the 19 technology areas comprising everything but basic research - that collectively describe the total Department of Defense Science and Technology effort. The primary purpose of this plan is to document the objectives that DDRE and the Teams are trying to achieve, and the Science and Technology efforts that are being pursued in order to reach these objectives. The plan also identifies the funding that has been allocated for these objectives and the timeframes in which these technologies will be available to be transitioned to new warfighting capabilities.
