Abstract:
The Belvoir RDE Center BRDEC in conjunction with the US Army Engineer School USAES and the US Army Armor Center and School USAARMCS have a requirement for a Best Technical Approach BTA analysis to determine the most effective alternative to meet the stated requirement for an Armored Gun System-Assault Bridge AGS-AB. Data and results from this BTA are intended to support requirements definition and the defense acquisition decision process. This BTA analysis is intended to clarify the mission need and to determine the most effective alternative to meet the mobility and bridging support requirements for the Armored Gun System AGS. This BTA analysis will support the overall program effort and will address each of several specified alternative technologies having potential to meet the bridging requirements of the AGS.
