The Synthesis and Characterization of Small Molecule and Photo-Cross- Linkable High Polymeric Phosphazenes Bearing Cinnamate Groups

Cyclic trimeric and high polymeric phosphazenes bearing cinnamate groups were synthesized and characterized. Cyclic trimers with the general formula N3P3RyRx, where ROC6H4OCOCHCHPh, ROCH2CF3 y1, x5 and y6, xO , and ROCH2CH22OCOCHCHPh yl, x5 and y6, xO were synthesized. Also synthesized were high polymeric phosphazenes NPRxRyn, where ROC6H4OCO CHCHPh, ROCH2CF3 yx1 and yO, x2 and ROCH2CH22OCOCHCHPh yxl and yO, x2. The photo-cross-linking of a representative polymer was studied by UV spectroscopy.
