Abstract:
Reverse phase high performance liquid chromatographic methods for the determination of stabilisers in advanced gun propellants have been developed. The stabilisers determined were diphenylamine, 2-nitrodiphenylamine and N- methyl-4-nitroaniline. The propellants contained NCRDXDANPE, NCTAGNDANPE or NCRDXTAGN as energetic ingredients where NC is nitrocellulose, RDX is cyclo1, 3,5-trimethylene-2,4,6-trinitramine, TAGN is triaminoguanidine nitrate and DANPE is 1,5-diazido-3 nitrazapentane.
