Abstract:

This report describes the environmenttool integrator ETI, version 1.2, that was developed under the Software Engineering Environment Prototypes SWEEP task of the Software Engineering for Command Control and Communications C3 Systems project. The ETI is a windowing framework for accessing the diverse collections of software tools used by software development projects. It can easily be customized to satisfy the unique needs of specific projects. The ETI, version 1.2, executes on the following Unix-based computers SPARC 1 OS SunOS 1.3, Silicon Graphics OS JRIX 4.05H, DEC Alpha OS OSF 1.3, IBM 6000 OS A1X2.3, and SPARC 10 OS SunOS 5.2.
