This report presents the results of a study conducted to design a whip-type antenna that covers the entire 2-30 MHz frequency range, has improved efficiency over previous single-whip designs, and is capable of accepting 3-6 kilowatts of RF input power. The Numerical Electromagnetic Code Version 4 NEC4 was used to design two versions of twin-whip antennas that incorporate resistive-inductive-capacitive RLC circuit elements to achieve the required performance.
