Abstract:

This study sought to determine the feasibility of operating a business as represented by the proposed Sunset Cruises. The minimum acceptable standards of performance established by the entrepreneur are defined as follows The vessel must be U. S. flagged. The business must operate entirely within the existing laws and regulations as set forth by government agencies and must meet or exceed the standards of performance and conduct as set forth by professional relevant organizations ie The American Society of Travel Agents, The Cruise Line International Association, and the conventions of the Certified Accounting Practices. The return on investment must be no less than five percent during each of the years during which capital debt is car The cost of debt service is to be computed as an expense and all loan proceeds are to be computed as investment.
