# Abstract:

Combining PSiMe33 or AsSiMe33 with Me3CCH23In in a 11 mole ratio yields simple adducts Me3CCH231n.PSiMe33 I and Me3CCH231n. AsSiMe33 II, respectively. Addition of Me3CCH22lnCl to a diethyl ether solution of LiPSiMe32 results in the formation of MeMe3CCH221n.PSiMe33 III. Isomorphous I and II crystallize in the trigonal system, space group P3C31, with ab 16.2781, c 11.4961 A, V 26381 A3, Z 3, Dcalc. 1.093 g cu cm for I, and a b 16.3041, c 11.5791 A, V 2665.66 A3, Z3, Dcalc. 1.164 g cu cm for II . Full-matrix least- squares refinement based on 2859 I and 2920 II reflections with I3 sigmaI , respectively, converged at R 0.049 R w 0.065 and R 0.042 R w 0. 055, respectively. Monoclinic crystals of III belong to space group P21 CC2h5, with a 16.0472, b 12.6412, c 31.5764 A, Beta 102.921 deg, V 62433 A3,Z 8, Dcalc. 1.112 g cu cm for. Full-matrix least- squares refinement converged at R 0.069 R w 0.087 over 4611 reflections with I3 sigmaI. synthesis, crystal structure, adduct, indium-phosphorus, indium-arsenic.
