Abstract:
This paper summarizes the Wright laboratory In-House Laboratory Independent Research ILIR conducted to determine the feasibility of using inherent information, such as angle-of-arrival fluctuations of incident radiation and spreading of the focused spot size, obtained through the measurement of the diffraction limited aperture of the atmosphere, r sub o to adaptively optimize laser communications system parameters.
