Abstract:
The Army National Guard ARNG is emphasizing the use of training devices to enhance home-station training of M1 tank gunnery. To this end, work is under way to develop a device-based tank gunnery training and evaluation strategy for ARNG use at company level. This report describes the results of research performed to determine a interdevice transfer of training between the Guard Unit Armory Device, Full Crew Interactive Simulation Trainer--Armor GUARDFIST I and the Mobile Conduct-of-Fire Trainer M-COFT, and b training time requirements for each device.
