This Final Report presents and discusses the results obtained in the following areas 1 Mode I and mixed mode testing of bonded joints 2 the use of an oxygen plasma surface treatment to pretreat thermoplastic fibre composites before bonding 3 the effect of test rate on the fracture behaviour of bonded joints and finally 4 the effects of test environment on the fracture behaviour of bonded joints.
