Abstract:

The U.S. Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences ARI, with the assistance of the General Research Corporation, undertook a project to modernize and improve the way the Army determines an individuals initial-entry Military Occupational Specialty MOS. The project developed the Enlisted Personnel Allocation System EPAS. This report documents the results of the field test of EPAS. The primary objectives of the field test were verification of the conversion to, and operability on, the Armys Information Services Command-Pentagon ISC-P computer.
