Abstract:

In military operations, the control of medically important insect pests such a mosquitoes, body lice, and beetle pests of stored products is essential in preventing disease and the loss of food. The use of effective insecticides will maximize the control success. Public health insect pests resistance to insecticides has been documented from around the world. The possibility of resistance affecting control should be considered before any disease vector control operation.
