Abstract:
The AFOSR-sponsored workshop Cognition in the Brain Investigations Using Positron Emission Tomography, was held on June 16 and 17, 1991 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. The goal of this workshop was to identify and begin a continuing discussion of the major issues affecting the generation and testing of new hypotheses about cognitive processing. The workshop covered three major topics 1 Anatomic localization of components of cognitive processing 2 Issues of data analysis arising from cognitive function experiments and 3 Task design in cognitive function studies with PET.
