Abstract:
This thesis develops a case study of a Department of Defense DOD activity that is suitable for presentation to military information resource management IRM students. The case will focus on the applicability of the Corporate Information Management CIM model as the framework for an IRM strategy for the Pacific Missile Range Facility PMRF, Barking Sands, Hawaii. Presenting a case of organizational control and technical planning to future military managers will provide experience in analyzing problems that tire unique to IRM in DOD. Use of this case study will also allow students to acquire skills, in developing action plans for a military organization.
