Abstract:

This thesis describes the level of User Information Satisfaction with the Composite Health Care System CHCS. A short-form User Information Satisfaction questionnaire, developed by Baroudi and Orlikowski 1988, was administered to CHCS users at the Naval Hospital, Charleston. Dividing the users into three work groups Physicians, Administrative, and Ancillary personnel statistically significant between groups were found. Overall, physicians were least satisfied and administrative personnel were the most satisfied of the groups. The respondents as a whole showed noticeable differences in satisfaction with factors that comprise User Information Satisfaction. The respondents were dissatisfied with the factor relating to software contractors services. However, the users were very satisfied with the factor describing local Management Information Department services.
