Abstract:
Physiologically-based pharmacokinetic PBPK models were developed and exercised to describe the behavior of methyl chloroform MC in mice and humans. Methyl Chloroform was compared to trichloroethylene and perchloroethylene work described in volumes 2 and 3. The models were then applied to risk assessment aspects of MC exposure. The pharmacokinetic work presented here extends the physiologically based pharmacokinetic PBPK models of MC that have been proposed to include prediction of TCA plasma concentrations andor TCA urinary excretion.
