Abstract:

The 18th Conference on Toxicology addressed contemporary initiatives in quantitative toxicology and provided a forum for the presentation of state of the science methodologies and ideas. These presentations and subsequent interactions provide a format which assists the Department of Defense in quantifying the risks associated with the chemicals encountered in its operations. The papers in this report were given in one of the conference sessions which were Strategies for Improving Toxicity Testing, Toxicities and Interactions of Mixtures, Experimental Data and Carcinogenesis Models, Environmental Modeling, and Advanced Techniques in Hazard Management.
