Abstract:
Puget Sound Dredged Disposal Analysis PSDDA is an interagency program for the management of unconfined, open-water disposal of dredged material into Puget Sound, Washington. The Management Plans for the PSDDA program identify disposal sites, describe dredged material evaluation procedures, and establish site monitoring and management practices. The plans also commit the involved agencies to a cooperative annual review process which evaluates disposal site use and conditions, dredged material testing results, and new scientific information, in order to determine if changes to the evaluation procedures andor disposal site management practices are needed. Sampling was conducted to determine any chemicalbiological contamination.
