This Note describes the unique domestic and regional environment in which Danish and Norwegian security policy is formulated and executed. It addresses the security policy structure, process, and politics of Denmark and Norway and how traditional security consensus and constraint, together with recent security policy developments, have affected the roles that these countries play within the NATO alliance.
