Presented is the analysis of how well white females fared under the Veterans Readjustment Program compared to traditional recruitment procedures at the U.S. Army Missile Command. Recruitment data for fiscal FY 85 through FY 89, grades 1 through 9 was gathered and mean percentages were developed to determine if significant differences existed in the percentage of white females recruited by the two programs. Veterans preference programs in Federal employment is discussed.
