Abstract:

Spectrophotometric data were obtained on 15 urban scenes, using Naticks Terrain Analysis System, for use in the development of an urban camouflage pattern. The data were classified into one of two categories Type I scenes were of rubble piles Type II scenes were of building walls. The elements of the scenes were found to vary over almost the entire lightness gamut, but concentrated in the red, orange, yellow and neutral regions of color space.
