The principal objectives of this program are 1 to demonstrate fabrication of high-temperature ceramic superconductors that can operate at or above 90 Kelvin with appropriate current density, Jc, in forms useful for application in resonant cavities, magnets, motors, sensors, computers, and other devices and 2 to fabricate and demonstrate selected components made of these materials, including microwave cavities and magnetic shields.
