Based on an evaluation of the material properties that control fluid dynamic performance a number of conclusions, recommendations and technical plans can be advanced. For the QAQC surveillance of a viscoelastic polymer additive, a variety of material property test methods were planned. The correlation between the results of these tests and the performance criteria was outlined. A general scheme of the usage of the results of the tests and their correlation with the performance criteria was discussed.
